Admin Assistant

Based: Heathfield, Newton Abbot, Devon

Hours: Part Time, 30 hours per week, Flexible time

Salary: £7.50 per hour

Contract: Permanent

CR Tonepohl Plumbing and Heating Ltd is a rapidly growing company and we currently looking for an administrative assistant to join our small, busy office.

This is a part to full time position working Monday to Friday. Flexible hours and immediate start available for a right candidate.

The main focus of the Admin Assistant is to provide high quality, consistent and essential administrative support for the team.

Key tasks will include:

  • Using the management software to input and report on data, statistics and other relevant information;
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Experience of using Xero or similar software would be an advantage
  • First point of contact to answer/direct incoming calls
  • Raising invoices/purchase orders
  • Checking supplier invoices against purchase orders / prices etc
  • Preparing and maintaining paperwork;
  • Organising team meetings, maintaining diaries, logs and other administrative duties to support the smooth running of the team
  • Communicating effectively with other colleagues within the company.

The role of Admin Assistant will suit someone with previous team administrative experience and who can thrive in a busy environment where they can organise their own workload and priorities to ensure that all work tasks are completed to a high standard on a consistent basis.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be an excellent communicator, able to build effective working relationships with a range of people, have excellent all-round administration, typing and IT skills, (including being highly proficient at using Microsoft Office ie: Word, Excel, databases and data entry).

Whilst previous experience in a similar role is not essential, it would be an advantage.
